Important: Please read this Refund Policy carefully before purchasing any Excel Templates from XcelTally. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Digital Product Nature

All products sold on XcelTally.com are digital downloadable products (Excel Templates). Once a digital file has been downloaded or accessed, it cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. Therefore, our refund policy is specifically designed for digital goods.

2. No Refund Policy (General Rule)

Due to the nature of digital products, we generally do not offer refunds once the product has been purchased and the download link has been delivered. This is because:

  • Digital files are instantly delivered and cannot be returned.
  • The file can be copied and retained even after a refund.
  • Product previews and descriptions are available before purchase.

3. Exceptions – When Refunds Are Considered

We understand that issues can arise. We will consider a refund in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • File Not Delivered: If you did not receive the download link within 24 hours of purchase and we are unable to resend it.
  • Corrupted File: If the file you received is damaged or unreadable and we are unable to provide a working replacement.
  • Wrong Product Delivered: If the product you received is entirely different from what you ordered.
  • Duplicate Payment: If you were charged twice for the same order due to a technical error.

4. Non-Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • You changed your mind after purchase.
  • You purchased the wrong template by mistake.
  • The template does not work on an outdated version of Microsoft Excel (we recommend Excel 2016 or later).
  • You do not have the required software (Microsoft Excel) to open the file.
  • You found the template not matching your specific personal preference after download.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund based on the exceptions listed above, please follow these steps:

  • Subject line: Refund Request – [Your Order ID]
  • Include your full name, order number, email used during purchase, and a description of the issue.
  • Attach screenshots or evidence of the issue if applicable.

We will review your request within 3–5 business days and respond to you via email.

6. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 5–7 business days. The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used during purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
